Purpose The main function of the Control-a-lite system is to control the flow
of the light into the room below. Rooms such as bedrooms, living rooms,
at times require different intensities of light to suit the work or
mood. Control-a-lite gives you this control. This unit has the same louvre mechanism as the electric system except it has a manual winder in lieu of an electric motor. The winder mechanism terminates on the ceiling frame flange. By inserting a winder stick it can be opened or closed to your desired light intensity. After completion of adjustment the winder stick is removed and stored. The Control-a-lite system is manufactured to fit easily into the base of the Woodroffe Skylight. This provides easy access, should you be required to remove the louvres at any stage. Model: Electric K Type This unit is a compact design with metal louvre blades. It is driven
by a 240 volt AC swiss geared motor. By the press of a button switch,
light can be controlled from full light to 95% shut off. This unit is
designed to control light but not fully shut it out. The unit takes
approximately 30 seconds to go from fully open to fully shut. The Control-a-lite
system is manufactured to fit easily to the base of the Woodroffe Skylight.
This provides easy access, should you require to remove the louvres
at any stage. |
